Bio
I am a medical coding coach and mentor to many individuals. I have served as president of our local area medical coding chapter on different occasions.
I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their learning goals. I enjoy working with small groups and collaborating with diverse individuals in one-on-one settings.
Education
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Studies as well as a Master of Education from Hope International University, Fullerton CA. I am currently an Instructional Design and Technology PhD graduate student at Keiser University FL.
Employment
I have been an adjunct medical coding instructor in Higher Education for about 16 years. I have worked in healthcare as a medical coder for over 18 years. I have provided training for medical providers, ancillary staff, non-clinical staff and medical coding students from various backgrounds.
